2012年9月のタブレットは市場は Tegra 3 にして函体のデザインを変えただけで価格を維持できるようなぬるいところではない。クアッドコア(Tegra3) のプレミア感は Google+ASUS+NVIDIA によって叩き潰された。すでに、Android タブレット市場ではクアッドコアは最低限の仕様であってセールスポイントではない。
この先 Windows RT がどのような仕様で来るかわからない。Amazon が kindle fire をリニューアルして 10 インチを使いするという噂もある。これらは、組立屋と異なる収益構造を背景に市場に食い込むことを狙ってくるはずだ。これらを迎え撃つ弾としてこの “bullet” は弱すぎるだろう。
