Cornelius Nepos (c. 100-24) was a Roman biographer. He was a friend of Cicero and Atticus. Much of his work has been lost, but a few isolated Lives have survived, notably the uniquely positive description of Hannibal in the Lives of Foreign Generals.-wikipedia.en
