Herbarium of Apuleius The earliest herbal in the Warren H. Corning Collection of Horticultural Classics is the 1483 issue of the Herbarium of Apuleius which was first published in 1481. The work's history is literally lost in antiquity with much speculation on the identity of the author, who probably was not named Apuleius, and whether or not the work is derived from that of Dioscorides. To the extent that there is a consensus, it is generally believed the work was originally written in Greek around 400 AD. ギリシア時代の著述家アプレイウスの作品ではない。 |
